Ishyia “Shy” Smith FNP-C
This week we interview nurse practitioner and business owner Shy Smith FNP-C. Smith got started on her aesthetic-injecting journey between 2017-2018. The practice she was working at in Las Vegas invited Allergan representatives to train the employees, which helped expose her to a lot of knowledge in injecting. Shortly after training, she studied for her Nurse Practitioner license to begin injectables around. Around 2020 she decided to open her own medical spa, Nurse Cosmetics. She wanted to educate people around her that getting injectables can look very natural and has anti-aging benefits. Shy advises what injectable procedures people should look into when first getting work done. Shy learned very quickly that managing an aesthetic medusa is challenging, and it’s essential to have a solid team behind you, help them excel, and for them to see your vision.
