It’s that time of year – the leaves are changing colour, it’s getting colder outside, and every lawn you see has a picket sign of the party they’re supporting in the upcoming elections. Elections can be a tough time and voter apathy is at an all time high, but don’t worry – YKWIM’s got you covered. This week, Tarini and Nadine are giving you a TL;DR version (too long didn’t read version, spark notes version, you get it) of the Canadian elections. Starting with a quick fire round on every party’s platform, Nadine and Tarini go into detail of the three main parties’ stance one topics like women’s rights, the economy, and climate change, with the hope that you’ll feel more informed when casting your ballot on Monday October 21st.
