The show follows Devi, a young Indian American girl in California navigating teenage life with her immigrant family. This week, Nadine and Tarini share their thoughts on Never Have I Ever, discuss the importance of representation in media and whether or not it was impactful in this show. They watched the entire season and have a lot of thoughts (like, a lot - fair warning on Tarini’s monologues to come) on what this show did well, whether they were able to relate as immigrants themselves, and what it means to be depict the experiences of minority groups in media.
