This week on the podcast I change things up…kinda? I go over some recommendations of comics (HAPPINESS WILL FOLLOW), and music (EVERGREY, OLA ENGLUND), and give some personal work updates! After that we have my esteemed guest, the Comic Artist/Animator/Musician NELSON BLAKE II! Nelson has worked on a load of different titles (MAGDALENA, MS. MARVEL, ROMULUS, BYTE-SIZED) and is very much a passionate student of art and guitar. We have a super fun chat about the differences in animation and comic storytelling, his new project BYTE-SIZED with writer CULLEN BUNN, published by AWA, and a lot, and I mean a LOT, of music and guitar talk!
