Description

I talk with Kevin Hyer, Esq., Founder/CEO of The Hyer Calling Foundation, a Center City Philadelphia-based nonprofit that educates businesses on the benefits of promoting and maintaining a Recovery-Friendly Workplace.

Prior to forming the foundation, he practiced labor law for ten years in different capacities at Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel, Compass Group USA and SEIU Healthcare PA. In long term recovery from Methamphetamine Use Disorder, Kevin is Board Counsel to Faces & Voices of Recovery in Washington, D.C. and a member of the Penn State School of Labor & HR’s Affiliated Program Group faculty advisory board.

Kevin shares his journey to recovery after losing everything to meth at the age of 40 as a successful lawyer. His mission now is to help recovering addicts get back on their feet.
