This week, I took the podcast solo to put to rest a topic I've been vocal about in the past. "HIIT" training seems to be one of the most popular forms of exercise right now and in my opinion, for all the wrong reasons. We see claims of: burning more calories from HIIT, dropping more body fat from HIIT, burning calories for hours as a result of HIIT and with that being said, it sells the idea of a quick fix, which at this stage, I think we all know isn't a thing. In this episode, I simply break down what HIIT is and what HIIT isn't. We debunk some of the wild claims made about HIIT and explain the reality of the situation. I also give my 2 cents on why it's become such a growing trend amongst gym goers as of late. In this episode, I do not intend to bash or belittle those who do this style of training. If you enjoy it, who am I to tell you what to do. In this 25 minute podcast, I merely go over the facts and claims surrounding HIIT!
