WE NEED TO STOP ABANDONNING OURSELVES AND FIND DEEP INNER TRUST
On October 2011, Jessica Buchanan, who had been working on a demining project with the Danish Refugee Council, was kidnapped by Somali pirates. Attempts by the Council to enlist local Somali elders and traditional leaders to assist in freeing the hostages were unsuccessful, and the pirates refused an offer of US$1.5 million ransom. With Jessica's health declining, U.S. officials decided to launch a raid against the pirates using Seal Team Six.
In this episode, she shares vulnerably about her experience and she also leaves us with so many important messages that anyone can relate to.
