In this episode of The JCS Show #16, I interview my grandfather (Pop), Bob Conlan. Pop paints a picture of growing up in a big American city (Philadelphia) in the 1950's and 60's. We discuss the role of family, religion, and place in life. I ask him about the differences he sees in the generations ranging from his grandparents, and parents to my generation - his grandchildren. We talk about how technology has changed throughout his life and the pros and cons of the internet and wireless communication. He reflects that his life has been 'blessed' but shares his concerns for the prospects of my and future generations in the United States.
