Should the experts be our policymakers? Furthermore, should our policymakers be an expert in the field? My answer is NO, but before you give me your violent reaction, hear me out.

In this episode, I talked about something I learned from Alex Epstein's book, Fossil Future: Why Global Human Flourishing Requires More Oil, Coal, and Natural Gas--Not Less. Alam niyo ba na ang ating knowledge system ay may apat na stages? Ito ay ang research, synthesis, dissemination and evaluation. Alamin kung ano ang ibig sabihin ng mga ito ay kung paano ang bawat isang stage could fall into error and corruption. How a faulty research by our so-called "experts", could lead to a bad decision by our evaluators or policymakers, dito lang sa THE JAY ARUGA SHOW.
