Square Inc. has announced that it is opening up payment-processing capabilities to sellers of CBD products. This comes after originally only offering the service as part of a beta program.
Square’s venture into the CBD market began just a few months ago when it started an invite-only program with over 1,000 partners to see what merchants needed. The program helped figure out how to work with its own internal teams to become CBD friendly. Now, Square is opening up the beta program and letting qualified merchants apply.
