I explain the downfalls of the standard American diet, the 90% rule, and why there are better options to counting macronutrients. I also give you a few actionable tools to take away; replacing processed foods with added sugars and vegetable oils with healthy fats and natural sugars will improve the function of the brain and body.
There is an endless amount of information on nutrition, much of which is very controversial. This episode dives into my general understanding on how I approach my food intake from a balanced perspective to improve brain function. I will dive deeper into specific topics about nutrition in future episodes.
