For the next 10 days we will be praying through The Return 10 Day Prayer Guide. โฃ

Below is how we will use this prayer plan.โฃ
โฃ
Every day we start with a prayer of adoration. Why do we pray this way? Itโ€™s been said that, โ€œa picture is worth 1000 wordsโ€. When we are able to taste and see God (Psalm 34:8) our hearts are alive because we can both receive love from Him and give love to Him. โฃ

โฃ
In the Fatherโ€™s redemptive plan, it is His intention for Jesus โ€œthe image of the invisible Godโ€ (Colossians 1:15) to be seen, known, and worshiped by every tribe and tongue throughout the nations of the earth. Praying the Bible and worshiping Jesus for Who He is, joins the prayer and worship in heaven (Revelation 4) that continually adores Jesus in this way.โฃ
โฃ
What makes adoration prayer unique? Adoration is He centered vs. We centered. โฃ
Our focus is on who He is, not on how we are doing. โฃ
Our focus is on His worth, not our circumstances.โฃ
โฃ
Adoration builds faith in who He is so we can have confidence when we make our requests, and open hearts when He speaks. As we pray, our hearts become positioned to โ€œboldly come before the throne of graceโ€ (Hebrews 4:16) in intercession.โฃ

โฃ
Why do we anchor our prayer and intercession in the Bible? โฃ
โฃ
The Bible is Godโ€™s language, the language of His heart, the language of heaven. โฃ
โฃ
The Bible is positive in nature and encouraging to our spirit and renewing to our minds. โฃ
โฃ
The Bible is faith filled and has no doubt or unbelief. โฃ
โฃ
The Bible creates unity in Godโ€™s people as we pray and worship from it.โฃ
