***Trigger Warning: This episode discusses the attempted murder of a child and sexual assault.
In the early to mid 1980s, the state of Washington was suffering at the hands of yet another serial killer, the likes of which had not been seen since the Ted Bundy murders. The Green River Killer terrorized the SeaTac area, killing at least 49 young women and teenage girls. Gary Ridgway would become one of the most prolific serial killers in the United States. In this episode, we discuss Gary’s childhood (which definitely led to him becoming an absolute monster), time in the military, first two marriages, and the initial five victims that were found.
