Chad Stears is a Baton Rouge native and also went to LSU. Chad has been a D1 umpire for 20 years and counting. He talks about becoming an ump and the process of you have to go through to be an ump. He tells his story of when the parrot landed on his shoulder during a game. He is what some of know him as the guy behind the Diamond Legacy Events. He holds one of if not the biggest tournament for the younger age groups in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He talks about why he gets the umps he gets to call his tournaments also.
