This week we'll be talking about Spawn (1997), spawn the animated series and the long anticipated Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021). What are the movies about?
First up we have Spawn (1997) Before Al Simmons was double crossed and killed by his boss, he was a covert government assassin that had done a lot of bloody jobs. Those exact jobs are what have landed him in Hell where he was offered a chance to return to Earth, as long as he will lead Hells army. Now reincarnated as a Hellspawn, Al has a choice to make. Lead the evil army or take a stand and fight for the side of good.
The same year Spawn the movie was released an animated series was also unleashed into the world. With a much darker more sinister tone to it than its cinematic brother and keeping much more in-line with spawn creator Todd McFarlane's true vision for the character. It rang glorious for 3 seasons and is still the best cinematic representation of the Hellspawn with a heart to date.
Lastly moving onto the movie the whole world seems to have been talking about this week we have the long called for After seeing Superman's selfless act, Batman enlists the help of his new found allies (Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash) to take on a threat that could end all of humanity.
