With an incredible pedigree - one of the producers wrote the book “1001 Films You Need to See Before You Die”, indie actor extraordinaire Kyle Gallner, the DP is none other than actor Giovanni Ribisi - is Strange Darling with its lush filmic cinematography, intense performances, and non-linear, time-jumping narrative THE IT indie thriller of the year (in a year with some sparkling indie fare) or is it pretentious arthouse drivel?
