Description

On this Geek Freaks Headlines, we break down today’s Halo news: a full remake of the original Halo campaign called Halo: Campaign Evolved built in Unreal Engine 5 with 4K visuals, refreshed audio, and returning cast re-recording lines. For the first time, Halo is coming to PlayStation alongside Xbox and PC. The remake adds three new prequel missions, nine series weapons like the Energy Sword and Battle Rifle, modern mechanics such as vehicle hijacking and Skulls, and a big emphasis on four-player co-op with split-screen and cross-play. There’s no competitive multiplayer here, and we talk through why that choice probably makes sense for a UE5 transition and a multi-platform launch.
