In this week’s episode, I explore what healthy digestion is, and is not, as it’s World Digestive Health Day today; May 29th.

Healthy digestion is a topic I am most passionate about, and it originally sparked my interest in Eastern nutrition, in particular, Ayurveda, the traditional medicine of India.

Eastern medicine has promoted the gut as our foundation for health and well-being for thousands of years.

Western research into the gut microbiota has provided further explanation of the role the gut plays in health and illness.
