When we think of worship, we often imagine that God is the one who benefits from our worship. However, worship is an opportunity for us to partake in His divine nature. Through worship, we reflect His image and grow to be more like Him. Worship transforms us to become like God; it does not make God like man. Through worship, we become partakers of His divine nature.
