He was a four-year varsity athlete in football, basketball and track at Butte High School. He has a Rose Bowl ring from his career playing football for the Oregon Ducks.
Yet, it still seems like Cody Carriger is a little overlooked when it comes to talk about the great athletes in Butte history. That is a shame.
Today, Cody is a police officer in Billings, and that athletic ability that drew Chip Kelly to the 2012 Butte High graduate is still on display if a criminal tries to outrun the law on foot.
