Mike Hamblin is a renowned artist whose work can be seen all over town, around the state and beyond. He painted portraits of Bob Green, Colt Anderson, Pat Kearney and the legends of Naranche Stadium.
Mike turned his Walkerville garage into an incredible studio/hangout area/living area that seems to take you back to the 1800s. If they had projection TVs in the 1800s, that is. If you’re interested in checking it out, you can find it on Airbnb.
In this episode of the ButteCast, we get the full Mike Hamblin experience. We also learn a whole lot about the process of how Mike creates a work of art, and we learn that he does not care if you like it or not. We also learned that he has a heck of a time drawing a straight line.
