Description

The Marcus Miller Oredigger Killer Game was the craziest football game I ever covered in all my years as a sportswriter. Montana Tech dominated the state sheet, but Carroll College won 17-14 on Nov. 10. 2007 in Helena.

Miller, a 2019 inductee into the Saints Athletic Hall of Fame, scored all 17 Carroll points. He returned two interceptions for touchdowns, booted two extra points and kicked the game-winning field goal.

Now 15 years later, that still stings the Orediggers. It probably always will.
