I became Facebook friends with her a few years ago and was struck by her immense positivity and smile and loved watching her adventures as a city volunteer and parent of a special needs child in the Grand Prairie School District. Dr. Rho is an everyday woman who lives in our city and I loved being able to talk to her about her path towards earning her PhD, her civic involvement and why it’s important to be an active member of her community, and her parenting journey in raising a beautiful son with autism.
