We’re going to have a great upcoming week. Below is a short description of what’s coming up and important links and/or announcements:

Reader’s Workshop
The kids will continue deeply studying a character of they chose last week. We will work on a project all week where the kids will make resources for studying their character including a website dedicated to the character. They will turn in their project on Thursday.
Writer’s Workshop
The kids will work on and publish their second of 3 literary essays. If you haven’t yet discussed their literary essays with them, please do. There is some great analysis happening in our class.
Math
We will continue our expressions and equations unit. We will study the exponents using algebraic expressions and exponents. We will have an End of Unit Test on Friday. It will cover everything from this unit. We will have a dedicated review day on Thursday.
History
The kids will continue studying Ancient China!
Science
The kids will work with Miss Stevens in science lab.
