Rep. Mack Butler, along with other Republican State Representatives, stood strong against harmful gender and sexual ideologies, passing a bill in the House that would ban "classroom instruction or discussions related to gender identity or sexual orientation… to public school students in kindergarten through eighth grade" (HB130).
