Blue is so many things: it's clear blue skies and the ocean, the excitement of tropical holidays, but also the snobbery of the blue-blooded and the preppy set. It's also the beloved morpankhi color of peacocks and the monsoon rains, as well as the sadness of feeling a little down or downright depressed.
