Description

This is an introduction from Andrew Montesi, host and producer of Supernatural Business In Times Of Crisis.

Here's the transcription:

Before we get in to the interviews, I wanted to share a few quick thoughts for some background and context.

This show has been launched in the midst of the global coronavirus pandemic. Seeing the impact has been heartbreaking on every level, but as a guy who is passionate about business, and seeing friends lose everything and economies decimated, I felt prompted to do something, in my own small way. And that was to share the insights and stories of truly amazing people who can see past the circumstances and the turmoil of life, and operate in supernatural power in partnership with God.

'God', you ask? What kind of business podcast is this? Fair question. But stick with me.

I'm been a Christian all of my life, but most of that time I've kept things compartmentalised and kept life, business, friendships, Jesus all in separate buckets. Which, to be honest, makes stepping out with this podcast a little confronting.

I've also been to more than my fair share of cringeworthy Christian business events.

But a couple of years ago I started to ask some harder questions. If I really believe in an all powerful, loving God, and resurrection power and salvation through Jesus, then life should look different. If the Bible is true, along with the promises, miracles and Jesus saying that "we'll do what he does and even greater things", then why aren't we seeing it in our lives?

And if we call ourselves Christians, but we don't live in supernatural power and it is all just about getting to heaven when we die ... then why are we wasting our time here, now?

Let's just be real.

Anyway ... asking these big questions has led to a wild ride which is for another podcast, but the same goes in business.

If I'm a believer, then surely business has to look different.

So, when a pandemic turns the world upside down, or any kind of crisis attacks your business, what does it mean when you're operating from God's Kingdom?

This is what I talk about with some truly amazing leaders on this podcast. I talk to entrepreneurs, storytellers, marketers and ministers who reveal how to operate from a position of power, in faith instead of fear.

These are informal interviews where guests are given the time to share practical and applicable insights while also going really deep - there's an impartation available for those who want it.

If you're a believer, I hope this will encourage, inspire, challenge and maybe even offend you - in the process of challenging your mindset about Kingdom business, life and your relationship with God.

If you're not sure about your faith, what you believe or don't believe it all, I think there's a lot in these interviews for you, too. You may have experienced religion before, to be really clear, this is NOT what we're talking about. All I ask is you listen with an open heart and mind.

For all listeners, I hope these interviews open up a new way of seeing, especially when things get tough in business. Because while these interviews were recorded during the pandemic, they're for anyone at any time.

I expect that you'll come away with answers and breakthrough but some big, hard questions will remain, about your business, purpose, your life and God. And that's a good thing. This is just the starting point.

Now, please make sure you subscribe to the show on your favourite podcast player so you don't miss an episode. I've pulled this together ...
