On this day (3/21) in '80, the tv show Dallas airs the series finale episode "A House Divided." Why do I care about these fictional white people in 80s Texas you may ask?? This episode set the precedent for series finale cliffhangers in general, and now it's become somewhat of a standard to end the season on the edge of a narrative.
