Meanwhile on the other side of the ice Minnesota and their first round draft pick "Taylor Heise" were on a roll to kick-off their inaugural season of the PWHL inaugural season with 3 victories back-to-back-to-back beginning on Wednesday, January, 3rd, 2024 when defeated Boston in Boston's home opener by a final score of (MIN 3-2 BOS) and then they kept on rolling by winning their home opener against Montreal on Saturday, January, 6th, 2024 by a final score of (MIN 3-0 MON) and then kept on rolling with a win over Toronto on Wednesday, January, 10th, 2024 by a final score of (MIN 3-1 TOR) and then their winning streak came to a halt on Sunday, January, 14th, 2024 when they were finally handed their 1st lost of the season at the hands of New York in Over-Time by a final score of (NYC 3-2 MIN)
Minnesota has played 4 games this and Ottawa has only played 2 games this season but only one team can come away with this win.
