Toronto is in the PWHL playoffs but New York is not in the PWHL Playoffs this season.
But that doesn't mean that New York doesn't have a to play against Toronto and Toronto doesn't have to play against New York because they have just a few games left.
Toronto is back at it after coming off a (TOR 3-2 MTL) Overtime victory over Montréal last Saturday in Montréal.
New York is also back at it after (MTL 5-2 NY) loss to Montréal on Wednesday in Montréal.
Toronto lost the opener of this season series back in January but they have won the last 3 meetings in this season series against New York and will be looking for to win the series with 3 wins and 1 lost in this season series.
New York on the other hand would love to get another win in this series after losing the last 3 meetings to Toronto and not to mention the fact that they won the opener of this season series in shutout fashion (NY 4-0 TOR) and that was also the first game that kick started this historic league (PWHL PUCK DROP) beginning (Start date: Monday, January, 1st, 2024).
Get ready for another chapter to be written in this season series and who knows maybe this podcast will be checking into the PWHL Playoffs.
