A DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT: Friends! During this Advent season, we give and receive many "Christmas letters" from friends and family. We always appreciate hearing from our friends, even when we don't get to see them face-to-face for years. Keeping connections through letters and emails is a real blessing. I'm reminded of Jesus words in John 15:14, "You are My friends!" What a wonderful blessing to know that Christ is our friend and keeps connecting with us throughout the year. James (2:23) says that Abraham was a friend of God. May you enjoy your friendship with Jesus and with others during this season as we celebrate His love and grace.
