A DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT: The Lamb of God cross is a wonderful reminder of John the Baptist's words as he pointed to Jesus, "Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29). Jesus is that final sacrificial lamb promised in the Old Testament (Isaiah 53:7). He redeemed us with His precious blood (1 Peter 1:18-19) so that we can join Him in heaven as His bride (Re3ve.ation 19 & 21) and sing, "Worthy is the Lamb" (Revelation 5). As the four smaller crosses of this Jerusalem Cross remind us also to share the good news with the world.
