A Devotional Thought: On this day our Lutheran Church recalls the work of two Slavic missionaries, Cyril (827-869) and Methodius (820-882), who translated the Bible and many theological works using an alphabet that they developed. We recall and give thanks to God today for all missionaries throughout the world. May God continue to bless all their efforts for His Kingdom.
