:Today, August 15, we join Christians throughout the world in remembering Mary, the mother of our Lord. We hear of her about a dozen times in Scripture, always as a model of faith and faithfulness to God's promises of salvation through her Son, Jesus, the Christ. May we exhibit such faith and faithfulness throughout our lives.
