For our 50th(!) episode, we wanted to do something fun and special for us, so we decided to review the latest Disney live-action adaptation - The Little Mermaid. We break down our thoughts on how Disney did with this one, and compare it with the animated classic we all know and love. We praise Halle Bailey's embodiment of Ariel, Melissa McCarthy's impressive Ursula, how funny Awkwafina's Scuttle was, and comment on the beautiful cinematography, the musical choices, and things that took us by surprise.
