Description

For the end of July, we decided to talk about one of the sweatiest films ever made - William Friedkin's Bug from 2007! Joining us today is 1/2 of Horror Queers (incidentally the podcast that got us into podcasting!) Trace Thurman! We discuss the abysmal marketing campaign, Ashley Judd's *powerhouse* performance, and the lack of lesbian bars in America. We also get into Michael Shannon's perfect casting/manic energy, mental health, and domestic violence. Does Shawn come around from hating this film when he saw it back in 07? Who gets to deliver the "I am the super mother bug!" line? Does Judd give one of the best monologues of all time? You'll have to listen and find out! Get out your aluminum foil and sit by your bug zappers because it's gonna get nasty!
