We are joined by a very special guest, Rachel Reeves, a journalist specializing in horror films and film music, in addition to co-hosting The Losers Club: A Stephen King Podcast and The Pod and the Pendulum, which covers the wild world of horror film franchises! We discuss the masterful use of sound (and silence) in the film, what it's like to feel like a movie is staring at you during its runtime, that terrifying ending, how disgusting that mud bath house is, and whether or not we were the Pod People all along.
