- The Japanese public sector is warming up to startups and taking action. What we did in Finland 15 years ago, Japan just started doing now. They realized that focusing only on domestic companies is not effective anymore and if they want the economy to keep on growing, the best solution is to get foreign startups to come to Japan and start running their business.
- But unfortunately, they are not getting the flow of companies going to Japan.
- Cities and government have changed their perspective to allow foreign investments and get foreign startups to come to Japan. Their message is clear:
"We want to have startups come here. And we will support you"
