Heaven isn’t just a place you wish for, it is a reality you should bring into your present experience. It is not just a futuristic place for believers, but also a present governing influence over us.
Heaven is God’s information quarters (Genesis 22:11; Exodus 16:4). It is also God’s store house, and when the need is required, He disperses. However, the Christian should not limit the heavens to God’s store house.
Open heaven is a unique experience that describes an intensified supernatural encounter (Genesis 28:13-17; Luke3:21-22). The open heaven is an intensified Holy Ghost encounter or activity (Acts 6:5; Acts7:55).
Things That Happens Under Open Heavens:
(1). There are massive supplies of the Spirit (2 Kings6:18).
(2). Extraordinary result will be seen, and there will be no scarcity (Luke 5:6-7).
(3). Visions and revelations that gives you an edge (Acts 18:9-11).
(4). God becomes more tangible (Genesis 28:12-15).
Although, open heavens are supernaturally orchestrated (Ezekiel 1:1; Luke 3:21), but the things to do to trigger and sustain open heavens are by:
(i) making the kingdom of God your priority (Colossians 3:1)
(ii) honouring God in worship, reverence, and in a life more pleasing to Him (2Chronicles 7:13-14)
(iii) living as a citizen of heaven even while you're still here on earth
(iv) passionate heartfelt prayers, prophetic decrees and impartation
