How has our conversation changed in the past 40 years? It is amazing how we have been herded into what the book by George Orwell, “1984,” called “New-Speak.” In a generation we have added new words to our vocabulary, and literally “deleted” others. “Political Correctness” has invaded (like a conquering army) our schools, our government, our media, and even our social media. What’s even worse, this “New-Speak” of Political Correctness has even crept in like a cancer into many of our faith-based organizations and even a number of once faithful church bodies. It has happened so gradually that many simply did not pay attention. Our young people know no different, as many young people have been raised more by the public schools (and daycare) than by truly engaged parents. Bob begins a series that looks at these and other social changes on this week’s program. It’s a program you need to hear and share.
