Is there room for ordinary? Is there a place for everyday, faithful people to make an impact? Today we meet just your ordinary guy in the Bible. He doesn’t have an unusual beginning. He doesn’t do great miracles. He doesn’t make a big splash in the culture. But he lives faithfully before God and others, every day, day after day, same after every same day and God uses Him. What makes the ordinary, extraordinary, the power of living faithfully. Instead of holding on tightly to who he thought he needed to be, he became who God meant him to be. If you ever wonder if God notices, or sees or cares about your life, take notice. That is the lesson of everyday faithfulness. Let go of who you think you should be and become who God meant you to be.
