Today we are joined by former professional triathlete Aaron Birch. Aaron was a force in the local tri scene as he moved through the ranks. He tried his hand at the pro level and found out that it wasn't all it was cracked up to be. On the pod, we discuss how he got to the point of being able to call himself a professional, and what it was like competing against the best in the world. Aaron spoke candidly and openly about his history in the sport, what it took to make it into the pro ranks, and what ultimately led to him making the decision to leave the sport. As always with our guests, we hit him with our rapid fire round of questions at the end. I hope you all enjoy this episode as much as we enjoyed recording it.
