Ms. Hutchison trained at the Royal Ballet School in London and at the School of American Ballet and the American Ballet Theater, both in New York. Her dance career was cut short due to a fall while rehearsing the lead role in Giselle as a guest artist with The Cuban Conservatory Ballet in Florida. Ms. Hutchison began a career as a model and professional actress and starred in movies with Rod Steiger, Yvonne DiCarlo, Michael J. Pollard, and Neil Dixon. She has performed extensively in theater and television and became well known for her portrayal as Gabrielle Medina on ABC’s One Life to Live; she then went on to create the role of Jenna Bradshaw on CBS' Guiding Light, for which she received an Emmy nomination.
