She remains a key member of the top-rated daytime drama cast. On April 10, 2008, she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She has been in many feature films including Gary Marshalls, Mother's Day, Hysteria, and Echo Boomers. Along with her work, Kate is a true humanitarian. She is a celebrity spokesperson for ALS. She spends most holidays serving food at the Los Angeles Mission. Kate has made many USO tours with the late Johnny Grant and spent Thanksgivings visiting troops. She has many other accolades, she is just an amazing person!
