THREE new releases celebrate their BIG 4-0's this week, as March 2nd, 1984, saw the release of AGAINST ALL ODDS, REPO MAN, and the comedy classic THIS IS SPINAL TAP. But SPINAL TAP is not available on any streamer at the moment and, surprisingly, neither Ron nor Peter own it on any physical media. At press time, the DVD has been purchased and delivered and we will remedy the situation on a future episode. But, since we are looking at the Emilo Estevez, sci-fi cult hit REPO MAN this week, we thought in SPINAL TAP's place we'd look at another Estevez sci-fi thriller - one with much less of a cult following - 1992's FREEJACK, co-staring Rene Russo, Anthony Hopkins, and Mick Fucking Jagger! Find out if we think this one deserves a similar status as REPO MAN (and if we think REPO MAN deserves its status...). We also look at the Jeff Bridges/Rachel Ward/James Woods thriller AGAINST ALL ODDS.
