In the northern states, Rugby League is reigniting its State v State competitiveness as North Queensland and Penrith (two regional cities we might add) have progressed to the penultimate stage, while in the southern states - one eye is on who will win “The Big Dance” on Saturday while the other is surveying whether the Apple Isle get an invite to the party at all...

The slow burn narrative of 2022, in AFL circles at least, was whether Tasmania would be presented with the opportunity to host the 19th club in the Australian Football League.  



With the bid formally presented to the AFL commission and club presidents on Monday 19th September, Senior Communications Specialist Gordon Hunter Meredith is joined by Senior Associate James Fitzpatrick and Associate Sabrine Navarro to analyse what we know of the bid so far and to explore how Michelson Alexander would approach the various strategic communication and engagement plan needs of the major stakeholders involved in this important decision for the country’s biggest professional sporting organisation.
