Description

Eric Murray is a two-time Olympic Champion having won gold in the coxless pair with crewmate Hamish Bond at both the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games. The pair teamed up in 2009 and formed what would become the most successful combinations in rowing history. Bond and Murray were unbeaten internationally from 2009 until they parted ways in 2016. The duo also holds the world record time in the event (6:08.50), set at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Since 2016 Eric has split his time between coaching, business development, working with the ANZ as an ambassador and Autism NZ as their Patron.
