Round one of the NPL Queensland Men's is in the books and Gold Coast Knights added to their trophy cabinet claiming the Football Foundation Cup and striking an early blow in the Premiership race.Elsewhere there were plenty of goals, red cards and drama as the Men's season got underway, while in the NPL Women's Lions FC became the first side to beat the Knights in almost two years.
