It was a mixed bag for Queensland's remaining teams in the Australia Cup as the Round of 16 got underway. Moreton Ctiy Excelsior became the first Queensland side to beat A-League opposition in the last 16 to progress to the Quarters for the first time, while there was disappointment despite valient efforts from Lions FC and Olympic FC.
