Description

At General Synod 34 in Indianapolis, delegates will consider amendments to the UCC Bylaws that would change the frequency of General Synod from two years to three years. In order to engage in conversations and answer questions about the proposal, the "Task Force on General Synod Frequency, Form, and Function" held three Town Hall Events.

All three gatherings were recorded and edited to remove the empty space between questions, tech support moments, and duplicated introductions, opening presentations, and signoffs.

Each Town Hall Event had insightful moments about the history of the General Synod Frequency conversation and rationale for the resolution. We utilized the best of each recording to provide a chronological history and an easy-to-follow synthesis of the Committee's rationale.

Since there were three separate Town Hall Events, duplicate statements from the panelists were omitted to reduce runtime. All questions from the audience and subsequent answers are included.
